Four decades in the making
After working for his uncle's window company for 11 years as a young man, Harry launches his own new business Regency Windows on May 1st 1985, at 22 Acherson Place in North Coburg, with 6 employees
The business expands rapidly, and Harry quickly acquires a larger piece of land, in a then much less-developed Thomastown. Work commences to build a much larger onsite workshop, showroom and offices to support his growing staff
Regency Windows then moves to newly completed premises at 288 Settlement Road, Thomastown, and now employees 11 full time staff members, with 8 subcontract fitters/installers
Regency Windows ceases using Boral aluminium extrusions, and begins developing our own window and door extrusions onsite at our Thomastown workshop
Regency Windows celebrates it's 10th anniversary
After 7 years of dedicated, hard work, Raf becomes a partner of Regency Windows
Regency Windows partners with AWS, and begins manufacturing Vantage™ Window & Doors systems. Full time employees now number 18, with 8 subcontract fitters/installers
Giovanni joins Regency team in February as our Senior Sales Estimator. · Regency has the pleasure of becoming part of the Australian Window Association
We celebrate our 20th anniversary, and the team and scope of our innovation and design capabilities continues to grow
Kim joins the Regency team in Administration/Accounts
Jon commences work with Regency as our Domestic Sales Manager
The business continues to expand and Regency Windows relocates to their current address, at 94 Northgate Drive, Thomastown to better accommodate our customer's needs · Regency Windows becomes a member of HIA
Amer becomes Factory Manager after many years as one of our primary fitters.
Ewan Harris commences work as our Residential Sales Manager, after many years as one of our primary fitters. · Sharni Kernaghan joins the team as our new Receptionist
Regency takes on all sub-contract fitters/installers as permanent, inhouse staff. The team now numbers 36 employees
We celebrate our 30 year anniversary! · A new generation is introduced, with Harry's son Thomas joining the team as Marketing Manager. · Regency Windows is proud to become a Platinum Member of the AWA
